The EITEC-PROTEC MODULAR SYSTEM
Integratable steel lamellae are included in the EITEC-PROTEC system, which basically consist of bevelled spring steel sheets which slide into each other with the application of a slight pressure.
A newly developed tension-compression spring element connects the spring steel sheet lamellae to a fast-moving protective cover with variable length and uniform synchronous movement over all lamellae.
The corresponding high pre-tension of the spring steel sheet lamellae provides a dense, closed surface and ensures protection against contamination, cooling lubricants and hot chips over the entire travel path.
Machines with very high accelerations (1.5-2 G) and travel speeds (up to 150 m/min) are securely under control with the newly developed tension-compression spring element which, thanks to its special characteristics, prevents vibrational instabilities. This has been extensively tested on the EITEC test rig.
In the EITEC-PROTEC MODULAR SYSTEMs the cover guide is implemented by aluminium profile frames and plastic slides as standard components.
Alternatively, other individual forms are possible.
Optionally, an additional dense curtain can be connected and replaced at any time.
