The plastic frame and protective cover are rigidly attached to each other by stitch seam welding. Even when subject to high mechanical stress, this stitch seam will not come apart.
The weld joints also provide an oil-proof solution. Additionally, the plastic frame ensures that each fold is supported and thus keeps its shape.
