Wipers with special corners Wipers with special corners are an innov- ative concept from Eitec, which has been used since years with customer. Banded sheet metal parts and special corners need a certain and special geometry of wipers. These wiper lips have to be formed in a special geometry to avoid an overlap of the lips. Self-lubricating/Hydrostatic wipers Self-lubricating wipers are supplied from reservoirs stored inside the carrier plate and directly provide the wiper with lubri- cant (by the capillary effect). The work- ing lifetime and performance of the wipers can be improved considerably. EITEC provides a number of different self-lubricating solutions and systems. Particularly in the area of minimum quantity lubrication and when dry run- ning, our self-lubricating systems prove their value in providing a long service life for slideways. Hydrostatic wipers work with sealed wipers that are fitted with excess pres- sure or low pressure (hydrostatic pres- sure), for example inside the linear slide- way wagon. It is important and neces- sary that the wipers be particularly well tight and leak-proof for this purpose, and this requires specialised designs.
